CTI-Maritec Presents at SMT Shipping Crew Conference 2024 in Poland on Latest Insights on Marine Fuel Oil Testing & Fuel Behaviours

Presenting at the SMT Shipping Crew Conference 2024 held in Sopot, Poland, was an invigorating experience.

A valued member of our CTI-Maritec team took the crew through a detailed presentation on ‘Latest Insights on Marine Fuel Oil Testing & Fuel Behaviours’. 

During his session, our expert shared fundamental information focused on the nature of fuels, the distinction between grades and finally key ISO8217 specs. Additionally, he elaborated on the importance of representative sampling and how to correctly document what transpires during bunkering on the Chief Engineer’s (CE) forms. Our team member was also glad to have had discissions with several of our stakeholders in attendance on the topics of BioFuel testing, fuel additives and CO2 & NOX emissions.
