CTI POLY BECOME A MEMBER OF THE SINGAPORE SHIPPING ASSOCIATION

Singapore - January 2nd 2020; Poly NDT Pte Ltd, now branding as “CTI Marine Services” and part of “CTI Group” has become a member of the Singapore Shipping Association.

Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) represents a wide spectrum of shipping companies and other business allied to the shipping industry. It is a national trade association formed in 1985 to serve and support by strengthening the interest of its members and to enhance the competitiveness of Singapore as an International Maritime Centre.

Shipping Association undertakes activities on shipping matters which are beneficial to its members by protecting the extensive maritime interest of Singapore and foster Singapore as a major port. Taking the view of the shipping industry as a whole, the Association will play its due role to champion the interest of Shipping in Singapore, ASEAN, Asia and the world.

Association will work closely with the government of Singapore and co-operate with non- governmental organization to promote Singapore as an International Maritime Centre as well as freedom of the sea, safety at sea and to protect marine environment.

Internationally the SSA is a member of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and maintains good working relationship with various international organization such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the International Association of Independent Tankers Owners (INTERTANKO), the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO), International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners (INTERCARGO), International Group (IG) of P & I Clubs and International of Association of Classification Societies (IACS)
